One of a few "above average" funky organ jazz released by Philly native Jimmy McGriff on Sonny Lester's Groove Merchant Records.  The cover art made it a fan favorite by crate diggers.  There's actually some tough grooves on here including the down and dirty "The Bird," the soulful conga rhythms of "Red Sails In The Sunset" and "Canadian Sunset".
