switch up....i meant more of a mix maybe? maybe adding some street sounds, interview snippets, different tracks. i know its for a comp, but youre showing pictures of record avalanches and african street life to the tune of just one song.

what the status with the documentary?
Not sure aboout the documentary... I kind of lost touch with the film maker after things seemed to take forever to advance.
Okay, now I know what you mean with "switching up", I really suck at mixing or sound editing and also feared that things might get too incoherent especially since the visuals are such a lo-quality patchwork.
the video is quite effective in whatits trying to convey so good job also it sucks about the documentary i've had many a project go down in the black hole of future editing that never happens tons of footage gathering dust
It just seemed to be overly expensive in time and money for her to get the editing done... then she had to take on one freelance job after the other to get herself out of the debt she acumulated while shooting. She had some professional (I'd say "semi"-professional) editor do a rough cut that suffered from the editor not understanding French and some of the better interview parts missing etc... then she refused to include the killing of a chicken during a voodoo ceremony due to the editor saying it would be too "sensationalistic"... I actually thought about re-doing the entire project myself during future trips down there by constantly wearing one of those lipstick HD cameras that they use for example for extreme sports. Then I could do the whole damn thing myself and for the best part, not even have my own self in the picture all the time.
btw frank, will this comp have the KG Band track disco train on it by any chance? or is the tracklist still i need that track. When can we expect this to be ready to order?
