I will definitely make searching more flexible/powerful. You may notice some odd behavior in the next couple of days. I'll be making some big database changes. There should be an improvement in performance already. So bare with me.

You have to make sure you do a lazy match. If you do a greedy one it will grab everything between the first open tag and the last tag. So if you have something like blah blah blahb blah blah You will end up matching the entire string instead of matching the first...

I've created a webservice, so pulling data is easy. It's just a matter of creating an application on the phone to pull that data and display it. It's unfortunate that all phones don't share a standard framework. I might create one for the google android platform though, we shall see.

Haha I actually wrote a program to do that a few months ago, and I did collect about 20,000 auctions. But I don't know how ethical it would be to use it. Big pictures is something I'm considering. I'm worried about how it would affect the speed of the site, but I agree that bigger pictures...
