Mingering Mike - an IMAGINARY record collection?!

Here's my question. On that reel box it says: With instruction to make a 45 dis (sic; note my use of sic everyone) of the two songs. One can guess that this was either meant to be a demo recording of some sort, perhaps for a label or radio? Not sure. I'm sure a lot of people...

Mingering Mike - an IMAGINARY record collection?!

Amazing pieces of work. It kind of goes back to that time when we were all kids and wanted to be the people we saw on the record covers. If you can't find this Mike guy, maybe someone can find a family member. It would be nice to attach a story to this.

Seeking a late 70's library record (orange cover)

I remembered something and posted it on my Facebook page, and I want to post it here. The cover was a bit similar to those by the April Orchestra, where it's one solid color with white lettering. That's it. No photos of anything and I don't remember any designs. I want to say it reminded me...

No really, Aaron Fuchs is STILL a douche. (MCA-r)

DOR said:You can still sue on albums like Licensed to Ill??? I had questioned that too. I remember reading that some people use the three to five year rule, in that once it's past/outside that time frame, that's it, you can no longer make an attempt to sue or get a lawsuit. Yet I've...

    Soul Strut 100: # 75 - Black Sabbath (1970)

I love this album, but my top Black Sabbath will forever be Master Of Reality That was my formal introduction to the band as a kid, when I went to my uncle's place next door. I shared this story before but... it did its damage, perceived and real. But the first Black Sabbath album: brutal..

    Postal Rates on Shiping Records?

During the holiday season, there were issues with different cashiers I'd have at the post office. There's one guy who will always make sure I have the bargain and/or better rate. There's another guy who will up the prices and fees. I obviously prefer one over the other. If it is within...
