Jonny,
Just copped a couple of disco goodies from your wonderful store on Saturday. Best of wishes to you and everyone else from Helsinki - I managed to catch my flight back here just when they started to cancel the departures.
This one surely doen't belong to the list of my all-time favorites, but during the last few weeks, I've been listening to it a lot. A solid album produced by Lamont Dozier.
Yeah, the Ananda 12" and this Norman Cook's edit from 2001 are two totally different things. Norman Cook's version is a lot faster than the original song.

norman cook did an edit on an official release, i have the 12" somewhere... forgot the label.
I've been playing this quite a lot lately.
Numero Group did a reissue in 2007, and a +8 min long "Shoes re-edit" was also part of the package. I haven't heard it, but it's supposed to be pretty good. Does anyone happen to possess an mp3?
"I had been doing this sort of fun stuff before. Last christmas, I put on a santa hat. I got positive feedback, so I thought this would be a similar act."
I know I should have known this already, but I just found out that there are two different promo pressings of this gem by Webster Lewis (RIP): the album version with catalog number ASD 240 and a remix with picture cover and catalog number ASD 261.
Google didn't tell me nothing, so could...
