David Lynch. When you have an adjective named after your style, you know you're fresh as hell. To be honest, I don't LOVE a lot of his works (Twin Peaks ish, Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive), but he was clearly an incredible artist who pushed boundaries in film.
