note her spiritual side and her talent was off the hook. An incredible woman, and one to live by. She had a very interesting life from what I have read and seen. And to not be with another man, after her husband passed is very respectable.
also this woman had an interesting and talent life as well. I like how she was a pimp with a sangria in her hand most of the time with some egyptian like gear. LOVE IT!

I love this woman.
meeting Alice Coltrane was one of the high points of my life. she was so gentle and genuine. she seemed completely unshakeable and at peace with EVERYTHING...i'm not a religious person but meeting her made me think maybe there's more to it than i've been thinking.
not to mention she's one of the only jazz pianists of the past 40 years to not sound like a Cecil Taylor clone.
