Some may be slightly later than 2000, but for me these all fit in with that period when underground hip hop existed. Big cosign on East Flatbush Project, Operation Doomsday, Bush Babees, Big L (The Enemy!!!), Radiohead, 21 years, blackstar beats and Natural Elements...

This was a great album. Likewise the Siah & Yeshua/All Natural albums upthread. Anyone remember the book that came with the OG pressings of that? There was a great short story about the death of Tupac in there. I saw All Natural in London not long after it came out and asked Capital D if he'd thought about making it into a movie, and he said they were looking at turning it into a play. Any Chi-Town types know if that ever happened?

I recently dug up a copy of "Magic Chef". It didn't hold up as well as I had wanted it to.

What about Royal Flush, "Worldwide"--I think that's technically indie.
