Like that one and also the other on that record ("Blues for the Guru" if I remember correctly) but I was never quite sure if this is a real sitar playing or just some (fretless?) guitar emulating the sitar sound. Anyone who's more into string instruments can tell?

even if it??s played to death, Mathar is still my favourite. Dolingers Sitar beat is also great.

not mentioned yet, but also nice:

and the OKKO LP is pretty cool

A couple years back my housemates and I threw a massive house-party that ended up stretching way into the night. Around two or three some people were feeling the booze snooze, sitting down and chilling out. I was outside smoking when I hear the music stopping (it was a playlist on my computer). I ran back inside to sort stuff out, hit "play" on the keyboard and the first song that came on was "Dancing Drums".

The place fucking erupted! Not a single person was standing still or sitting down. A table, two chairs and a wooden crocodile were all broken during the frenzy, but that doesn't really matter. Great times!

All my favourites have already been posted, so I'll take it back to the basics and roll with this:
