Switzerland strut

so my wife is going to the land of cows and chocolate next month for work and I'm tagging along for the ride. We'll be in Lausanne for about a week, and I'll have the days to myself to wander around this winter wonderland. Does the strut massive have any recommendations? I plan on making at least one day trip to Geneva, to check out the city I was born in but have absolutely no memories of, but haven't planned anything else besides that.

more importantly, is it worth it for me to bring brazilian records to sell/trade? What kind of records can I expect the alpine euroman will have to offer?

neither of those options are exactly available to me (not big into skiing, don't have lots of money, especially given the current exchange rate)

I live in Lausanne but I can't really recommend anything to do besides eat a fondue, go to the Cathedral, the Museum of olympics... it's a small city... I'd say it's much better in the summer, winter in Switzerland is all about skiing and mountains. But it's not cheap....

I just came back from a holiday in Chamonix (near to Switzerland) and fell in love with raclette.

I went to Geneva when I was in college. I don't remember doing anything special other than museums and taking the train. I think you can take trains to small towns in the mountains with trails.

I assume the insanely rigorous mountaintop trail known as The Haute Route isn't on your agenda:
