Gears is probably my second favourite Mizell album although Blacks and Blues would push it close.

Just finished listening to this and Stepping Into Tomorrow about an hour ago. Surely the Mizell's finest and about as close to a 10/10 as it gets, the first 4 tracks are almost faultless to me.

They'd built up a brand name with people in my area (Edinburgh) for being probably the best weekender so I suppose they wanted to keep it going. Don't know anyone who's been since it moved, I think a combination of older age, responsibilities and further to travel ended it for most unfortunately.

Used to enjoy the Southport Weekenders.

Supposed to be excellent but sounds a bit too dungeons and dragons for me.
