hi...moved into my new flat & have just finished to put away all the records.i stumbled on this KRS ONE/Kenny Parker 12" which is a (mid 90s?) rmx of "question & answer" ! quite like it so i wonder if anyone got anymore informations besides what the label itself reveals:

is there an "official" release?many thanks!

I don't think there was. It's produced by Pal Joey and samples Bob James Feel Like Making Love, right?

I haven't seen my copy for ages, but have been passively looking for it for a minute.

I always dug this remix - I have it on a different bootleg though.

I like this idea that KRS had actually been "checking things out for 4-5 years now." LIke all he's been doing is sitting around, taking notes on suckas.

I also have this on a white label bootleg. Same track on both sides (if I remember correctly... it's been a long time since I fished it out). Nice remix. Was this ever officially released? Whether on a comp or some Jive promo?

First time I heard this track was on a DJ TIM mixtape (I think he was from the bay area, made the KILLER tapes with exclusives).. I think it was on the summer '95 tape, he used to get serviced all the shit from the labels... however, I've never seen an official release, just a bootleg... maybe it was a cassette only remix promo thingy?

my bootleg? is a black label with a white stick on label with track titles. i have some comp on jive that has questions & answers on it but i don't think its the remix. it might have been called east vs. west
