Going through my records looking for boogie/disco shit for the radio gig tonight, I pulled out this one, which I had picked up in a pile of 80's stuff at a thrift store and never got around to playing:
Nice boogie shit on South Bay Records from '82. James Gadson on drums, David T. Walker on guitar supplying the organic sounds over the slap bass and synths...couple of heaters on here, maybe just a few too many ballads. If you see it cheap, cop it. "Make Room at the Top" smokes and has a dope beat.
