There was another demonstration tonight in downtown Oakland that turned into another mini-riot.

I hate it when folks abuse a necessary freedom like a people's protest. Can you image if King's March on Washington or the Bus Boycott had been fucked up by selfish, advantageous looters? Talk about burying the message.

motown...whats the scene like in your high school? has the shooting completely taken a precedent over curriculum? students stage walk outs? whats the deal?

i remember when the rodney king cops got acquitted our whole school walked out and marched up to broad street and stopped traffic. may have missed it, but i didnt even see this travesty make the front page of our papers.
