Believe it or not, Tramp by Lowell Fulson.

This has one of those archaic old-school stereo mixes where half the band is coming from one speaker, and the rest of the band is heard in the other. A lot of people don't like this kind of extreme separation, and if one of your speakers is busted, you are fugged up. However, if both speakers are going and you're wearing headphones, it's a trip to hear Lowell's guitar (JUST Lowell's guitar) in one speaker and the rest of the band in the other channel on "Pico."

But even more necessary, and in my opinion the top of the heap is the Future Days album. Also any of Brian Eno's earlyish stuff, especailly TTMBS--the mix is impeccable. Along those lines Manu Chao's Esperanza also comes through with the depth. I also used to bug out to the first cLouddead album, and the second Themselves album.
