In this interview with K-Def he is saying that he played around with a software that is doing phase shiftings and was able to erase the bells in that process. That happened around 2004-2005. So the file that we can hear these days without the bells was produced by him.

Unfortunatley J-Zones was not asking these questions:
1.
Why are you saying it now on a total randomly note and not earlier?
2.
Did you give Biz Markie the file you produced?


The part where he says that is at the end of the interview.
 
I thought that was pretty common knowledge even at the time.





He did that with a bunch of stuff, Blind Alley instrumental 7" etc.





Also who did the fake labels was known, they were only ever meant as a joke but other people on the internet didn't get it, picked up on them & ran with it as people on the internet do.

remember when that 7inch came out, didn't know it was k-def. that was when people were really getting serious about label art, etc. long from the days of "super sporm"
