Yeah, I got that Summer '72 one with the Scorpio. Speaking of a cover of Cisco Kid, the Orquesta Casino in the same picture has a version (http://youtu.be/YcVd0WVDveE). IIRC, there was a thread a long time back about the LP, which is how I became familiar with it.

HC: I was pleasantly surprised by the Broth record, too. Clean white label promo.

And something I noticed about the Latimore and the Jack Ashford: that cover motif sure was popular in the 70s. I'm guessing "360 Degrees of Billy Paul" was the "Illmatic" of its day?

Some of the finds from CavernDiscos' chudquidation of 10,000+ LPs

Couldn't believe my luck...I took a blind chance at last Sunday's local flea on If You Really Wanta Make It/Change by Family Circle and was totally feelin' it (need that Al Green graemlin). A few days later I'm up in the Boston 'burbs on business and during some downtime Friday morning I came across this for 99 cents in Worcester:

Is the Masisi as good as it looks?

Yeah, that's a great record, the star of the bunch is the Steve Black though...
