Alright, this was one of my top two records that I got my hands on in 2010, and no doubt one of the best records I've heard in a long time. Top Bay Area jazz funk with just a stellar vibe throughout. Everything about this privately pressed LP from Oakland, CA is a total work of art; from the handprinted, silkscreened cover (each one is a slightly different shade of blue from what I gather) to the beautifully handwritten notes on the back urging the person in possession of this magical musical remedy to:





"Take this medication for anxiety, fatigue, dispair (sic), loneliness, dosage: 1-3 times daily. -Dr. Jones"





Yessir!





Hope it has the same robust effect on all of y'all that it does on me.

Dope, thanks for posting that People's People. I scored my copy this year from Jinx and it's one of my favorites from 2010 as well.
 
unfortunatly i cant rip any records right now (moved my studio and still havent got a 1210 in there), but as some have been liking my MCDE stuff i thought i d share two older tunes i lost in a HD crash and therefor cant finish/release em. Might be still nice to play out. sorry for the mp3 quality. Oh and so far the stuff in here has been really good!!
