What are some of the hands down clear cut examples of where the remix kills the original? Hip Hop, Dance, R&B or whatever...

I have crazy jetlag right now, so here is a photo of a little bastard who stole my coke on the beach while I was away and proceeded to thoroughly enjoy it right in front of me.

I see your Jamie XX and raise you a Cousin Cole. I'm biased because he's my homie, but to me this is the best Adele remix out there

Also, not sure why this popped into my head this morning, but Quentin Harris killed it on this remix:

days version of badu honey

diamond's version of soul on ice

beatnuts remix of No ID's State to State

the pete rock version of the black album

Propellerheads Remix of ATCQ Electric Relaxation (dance floor killer!)

frakie valli - beggin (pilooski edit)

johnny osborne - budy bye (kenny dope super dope remix)

Crooklyn Dodgers - Crooklyn (dj mighty mi remix)

Stetsasonic ??? Talkin??? All That Jazz (Dim???s Respect For The Old School)

Day generally falls under the same "anything touched by" rule that Cut Chemist does.

Yes, just copped this on 12" recently after spending an age tracking down the 7" !

I'll probably get shit on for this one, but fuggit. I personally like it a little better, particularly the arrangement, and I also appreciate that dude didn't fuck with the mix too much. It's still got a classic disco/chic feel, just updated a little.

The OG, of course, is classique too, but this remix has been in mind garden rotation for a couple months.
