Re: Modern Soul - Here's my highly-subjective definition of Modern Soul. I tend to separate it into 2 distinct eras and/or styles:
1975-79: the disco era - mellow steppers-type tunes, often with ornate string and brass arrangements; Prince Phillip Mitchell's 2 LPs on Atlantic; Norman Conners; Lamont Dozier on Warners; Jeffree; I would probably put that Eramus Hall LP in this category

I've been listening to 100.3 a little bit lately, they've been kinda killin' it. I heard a weekend mix with all new jack swing...Troop, Today, etc, etc, etc. Sounded good.

I can't see your pictures. Which Omni Lp did you buy? I think they recorded three LPs, the one from 1982 is the best IMO.

Ware produced the first, and better, side of this Billy Griffin album from 1985. The title track is classic IMO. The other notable track here is a nice version of Ware's "If I Ever Lose This Heaven."
