those cheap generic shure replacement stili on ebay

are they any good?
i'm a cheap dude but i'm also skurred to fusk up my records..

I bought an Audio Technica replacement from them 3-4 months ago and no complaints.

Don't do it... I find that they slide on the record of say a bass heavy hip hop record... they seem to sound decent initially but only for maybe a month or two depending on how much use they get... I find that they cut alot of high end noise while sampling with them but in general I would just cop the m44-7 replacement as they last seemingly until you break them... which I do by accident sometimes. They are alright at first but don't last long... they start to sound bad. IMO...
