how do you get such good cover scans?

I tweak most of them in photoshop, but Slavin's are like perfect. I dunno how he does it.
i fix them up in photoshop as well.. i usually just take pictures of them with my digital camera. i make sure there is adequate lighting and put them up against something so that they are upright.. from there its just a matter of having real steady handz (know the deal)

This isn't ideal taxonomy if there is already a Latin/Caribbean. So calypso will go with latin but ska with reggae? what is the definition of reggae here? Jamaican music? I... see... imperfection, duckies fallin' out of line.

Well you can list albums in multiple categories. To me reggae/dub/dancehall is pretty distinctly different than "Latin" music.
