Work for the State Government, Department of Sustainability and Environment. Helping design and implement a long term policy imitative aimed at conserving biodiversity and enhancing ecosystem and landscape/seascape health in the state of Victoria.
Also DJ occasionally, specialising in boogie, rare groove and old school rap songs. Its becoming more frequent as my skill level increases and my crates get deeper.

I'm an undergraduate linguistics student at UC Santa Cruz. Great place to live, decent but not very challenging school, and not very many records.
I have two jobs - one of which consists of doing nothing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights while people meet in the conference center. The other is doing morphology data entry for Mayan languages for a Syntax professor on campus, which I do at my other job. Works out quite well.
I also work for KZSC 88.1 FM (www.kzsc.org), UCSC Student-run college radio, but don't get paid a dime for it.
I wish I worked at or owned a record store.

i am employed by the university of pennsylvania to teach nutrition in public schools. my specific organization fell under a school district grant, so it got real wack...drop off photocopied lessons to teachers. i'm thankful my bosses scraped together grants to get me out of the supervision of that shit slow death.
so what i do is set up cooking classes during the day in my neighborhood high school. after school, i run a youthworks program recently named best in the city of philly. kids get employed and trained to teach nutrition/cooking in the community (schools, community centers, churches, anywhere really). We do some off the wall shit and i get to provide job training and a little bit of seditious world vision.
i love the youth. but i constantly feel taken advantage of by all the dipshit penn administrators who i have to answer to and who havent given me a meaningful raise in 4 years.
2. penn employment= free classes. trying to get a masters right now.
3. green renovation on an an old philly row home. not really a job, but this might be what i get into next. 20 hours every weekend.
4. occasional record flipping to support my habits. mostly private sales.

security tech at UCSF. I install surveillance systems, locks, exit devices, alarms, access control stuff like card readers, omni's, electrified locks and program the system and shit like that.
sometimes I write stuff for a few people that pay me to get mad
I also manage my apartment building but that shit is getting real old. I'm planning on quiting soon.
once in a while I will do some locksmithing on the side too.

hey thanks. i wish i had a little more work right now, ALOT of underskilled dudes runnin around my town right now. i thrive on the more creative, large scale and thus more $$$ projects. I just actually love doing tile as much as that might make me a simpleton. its the billing and scheduling and worrying about the next job i can certianly do without. Im trying to get into tiling furniture, although that may sound weird i have some clean design ideas that could translate well to the kind of artsy-mountain-megabucks people i deal w/ on my tile installs. thanks for the words. peace.
I'm a systems designer / programmer / consultant in the aerospace industry. My background is in commercial air transport and satellite data systems, but right now I'm working on a couple of private aviation projects.
I'm in the middle of an extended mental vacation. Moved to Hawaii, cut my consulting hours in half, spending a lot of time surfing, reading, and gardening.
Once I'm ready for some more stimulation I'll probably go back to school. I'm thinking about either quantitative finance or bioinformatics, leaning towards the latter. Either that or start a little company.
