Ha ha, my Dad did the same thing, always a plastic keg on the side in the kitchen, filled with something resembling beer. Strong beer.
Nowadays it's Hook Norton, from a keg, from the brewery, never a bottle, never that. And this, when I remember to get it for him, so he can give me a lecture on the rights of man, every time.

There was a beer distributor up near the old train tracks. We'd throw steaks over the barbed wire fence for the dogs, someone would climb over and toss cases (!) which we'd catch and run away with. Good times.
