I've been bumping Tate the Example's (Funky Example) mix-cd. I had this for months and just over the weekend I finally give it a listen. I'm really feeling this.

cheerlead!

Gary Higgins- "red hash" beautiful folk album from 1973, hurry up and reissue this Drag City!

Yeah, this is a very nice album. Didn't know it was getting reissued. Do you know if there is going to be anything extra on the reish?

Johnny Cash (not by choice). I know there's a lot of country heads on this board and I've given this kind of stuff a lot of chances over the years, but damnit, this shit is just miserable sounding!

I'm listening to Robbo Ranx Dancehall Splurt on BBC Radio right now and he just bigged up Ital Selection HiFi.

Add that to the birthday cake that was just served here in my office and I'm havin' an okay Monday.

(Sorry for posting a pic of BlaQwest)

It's Saturday, hommie.

Right now I am listening to the last record of a 2 month record weeding process.

It is Cannonball Adderley - Happy People and I am definitely keeping this shit.

Specific track is Maria Tres Filhos and there is some monster wah-wah guitar by, wait a second, no one is credited on guitar for this track. David T. Walker is credited on the track "Saviour", but no one is credited on this track. I assumed it was Walker.

Ballers fill me in! And if it is Walker, fill me in on his solo shit, too.
