Charlie B. Wilder aka Captain Planet is another Soul Strut alumni who went on to do bigger things.  In 2012, he submitted this tasty mix to Soul Strut.

Went back to my roots on this one, including the format- released on cassette tape only. This 45min mix is a collection of pretty obscure tracks from around the world, recorded from vinyl, chopped and re-arranged, and laced with my own production touches. There’s also some snippets of field recordings I’ve made while travelling. I left the names of sampled artists undisclosed, because I feel like in the era of shazam, people need to be encouraged to dig more.
