well...ive gotten far enough on Soul 69 Part 2 that i figured i'll share what i have so far with you all. let me know if you like it. or hate it. hopefully you wont hate it though? when i havent been working or sleeping, ive been working on this.http://www.boomspeed.com/fannywagon/soul69part2.mp3and again, I'm NOT finished.post your shit too! i need inspiration.

this track sounds good, the only thing I would say is that i cannot distinguish it from something that could have come out in 1969 or early 70's.. if that is what you are going for, than it's fine, but it would be cool if the drums were a little harder in the mix to set it apart from something a band would have done in the 70s.

if you don't mind me asking, how are you putting this together? are you programming and mixing loops as well? or are you chopping loops and mashing them together?

all that being said, this is nice.

Like it alot! The BPM is lower on this then part 1 right? Does that mean that the horns are timestretched? Doesn't sound like the've been though..

im not sure exactly what youre asking? those two things seem awfully similar, but there is both a lot of chopping and looping going on in this track.
