oh the days of going to a record store and buying records there... what a concept... to run a store and cycle through stock while buying new things.

i'll trade a mattie moss clark sealed for your latin con soul. there's a tune on "That's Christ" that'll burn the floor. this copy is left over from a non-paying ebay bidder. for some reason I find it more ridiculous that someone would buy a gospel record and not pay for it in comparison with a funk LP.

today I caught a nasty cobweb in my hair from diving under shelves backwards to reach some new addtions bin under bags of ROPA at a local thrift

I went back to work and saw it when I was in the restroom and freaked out

ahhhh.... it's a great album. I passed on a copy once just because there was a thin layer of noise through one side. I haven't seen one since.

Incidentally, if you don't already know about the La Plata and Pete Terrace albums- I didn't- you should be on the lookout. I think the Joe Torres would rank third for me behind those other two latin finds.
