Chance The Rapper - Yay or Nay?

I've been feeling Acid Rap a whole lot, digging the sing-songy style and production. His10 Day mixtape is kind of ill too, dig the whole "I made this during my suspension form high school".

Does the strut ride?

I like the tape a lot. Good stuff. I even didn't hate Gambino on it even tho his rapping is the worst.

So controversial. So much hate for Chance the Rapper in my peer group, until I play them some tracks and they all say, "Well, this cut is good, but still... his voice..." Funny coming from dudes who ride for Danny Brown.





I'm loving about 1/3 of the songs on Acid Rap and have trouble listening to the rest. That seems typical for most good rap albums these days. I'm keeping Acid Rain, Chain Smoker, Smoke Again, and Favorite song in regular rotation.
