Like I said, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire movie from beginning to end.
Specifically about the conclusion, Django tried to fight his way out the first time, lost, had his wife taken away, and then got sent to the mining company. I didn't completely buy the way he talked his way out of the mining company scenario, yet at the same time I thought it was plausible. Why would a slave have a wanted poster in his pocket and the three other slaves all said Django was not in bondage. Then he comes back and gets his revenge. Even before he got to Candyland they showed that Django was a dead eye shot and even had a flashback of it to remind the point with the audience. I liked Django telling the black folk to get away from all the white folk, shooting the sister, and Jackson's character meeting his end. This was a western afterall, were you so surprised that there was a big shoot as the finale???!?!?!? I didn't see that as a cop out at all. Were you shocked to see a big samurai fight at the end of Seven Samurai??? It's part of the genre.
