hahahhaa.. the fights in this game were so hilarious.
The hottest shit was that only the loser of the fight got the penalty. Real hockey should be that way.
I also cosign on Super Mario Bros. 3--that game blew me away. Super Mario Bros. 2 did as well, for that matter. Also, this bad boy:
I bought that for my stepbrother for Christmas on some, "Merry Christimas--c'mon, let's go play it!" steez. And we went absolutely apeshit for it. Still my favorite Mega Man game.

It was a really cool game, and it was really addictive, too because it was long and had no password function, so you had to be willing to sit down and play the thing from beginning to end. Easier said than done.
here's my collection. i had about twice as many but got rid of a ton. there are a ton of crappy ass games out there. these are essential.

the game weighed like twice the amount of a normal cartridge. I wasted all my time in a casino that was better than all of Casino Kid 1 and 2. nerds stand up... though i have no time for something like this now... shit is kinda rare and sold for 90 bucks on ebay

YES!!!Word! Tecmo Bowl was the joint. We used to play this for hours at a time. I used to use Cleveland and smash fools with the passing game. These old school games are SO MUCH FUN. You can just turn them on and start playing. New games are too damn complicated. You have to study manuals, download tips and codes, etc. Later for that. These classic games is where its at. I'm getting a modified Xbox with EVERYTHING!

Contra 3 was too sick with that special code used on every Konami game at the time. Also Super Mario 3, Zelda, TC Skate & Surf was the illest as well. And does anybody remember a game where you were a swat team and you would scale the house and jump into the windows. You would hang off a rope and dangle on the side while hopping and trying to get in the building.

I also liked Magic Johnson's Fast Break because it was so outlandish. My friend and I used to play shooting nothing but pullup jumpers from half court, and the score would still get up into the hundreds.
Hours of fun: Nintendo Ice Hockey with no goalies and super fast/super bouncy puck.
You guys know you can get the emulators plus all the roms for free online right? No need to mod the xbox or whatever.
But theres really no substitute for the OG system and cartriges. My man damon collects that shit like records. Dudes got doubles of most games. Im like "dude, why do you have doubles of games?" One to play, one to trade he says. Still I have visions of him trying to juggle excitebike or something.
