I took it to mean that on more than one occasion, he had spent 10 grand on a bunch of records. Like, he talks about going to the Roosevelt convention and dropping 5-6K on several crates' worth of stuff.

They all have some good stuff, but Cash Money has been around and is an OG DJ. He blew people away just with his 45's and didn't even get to 12".

Great episode. Egon is the man. I appreciate the lengths he goes to in order to reach out to the creators of this amazing music. His session with Jagari Chanda for RBMA was brilliant.





I've always said that if I could inherit anyone's music collection, it would be his.
