Congrats man! Unless I'm mistaken though, you already had tenure right? This means a bump in pay, a better title, and arguably the last major career hurdle until you go all emeritus. Big up Big Stacks.

Hey Manny and Fellow 'Strutters,
Thanks to everyone for their kind words of congratulations. Yes, I earned tenure at Rutgers back in 2008, and the Full Professor promotion entails a raise. I think the next goal is a named professorship of some type, Fellow status (i.e., renown scholar who has made a significant contribution to the field) in one or more of the professional organizations (e.g., Academy of Management), and then, perhaps emeritus status at the end.
It will be interesting to see my School's retention strategy if named professorship opportunities surface from other institutions. Often, external letter writers (and their institutions) become recruiters if they like the promotion candidate's materials submitted for review. I have been approached by at least one or more of the external reviewers during previous tenure/promotion reviews. Several of the reviewers for my Full Prof promotion case communicated desires to recruit me in their letters, and urged for my promotion as a retention strategy. It's all very interesting. Again, I thank you guys for being so wonderfully supportive.
