Plus, he's had this huge life that is more than most could hope for. All I know is that when my mother dies, no matter how old she is, I will be crying like a little girl.
That's totally understandable, but none of these people are realated to the pope or have ever even met him. Not to mention the fact that most of these people do not follow the bible as much as they act like they do.
I just don't understand the point in crying about some one who you never met, who lead a long sucsessful life and dies of old age. That's something to celebrate.

He is credited with jump starting the solidarity movement in Poland, which eventually ended communism there and has spoken out against human rights abuses around the world. He has lectured both Bush presidents on their policies in Iraq and the current pres on the Abu-Graeb (sp?) prison fiasco. People around the world absolutely loved him, so it is completely understandable why they would cry.
