man this shit is somewhat of an elusive gem to me... I've been hearing of this lp for years but have never ever seen it. i am always waiting to cop this shit but it just hasn't happened yet... Is it as good as I think it is?

fans of mal waldron's "the quest" should check this out..recorded the next day with the same line up(almost..i think one player is different) also it is Ron Carter's 1st LP as a leader, I believe

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but, IMHO, Where? slays The Quest. Both great albums though.
