Starring Jason Bateman and Michael Cera!!!! And it's getting great reviews.

Michael seems to be batting 1000. Wish I could say the same about Will Arnett.

at first, I thought this was like, "Knocked Up: The Teen Years" but it seems somewhat deeper. Love the casting.

looks kinda good.

Kinda blase about teen pregnancy though, which is pretty much shitty all around.

...Article on the screenwriter in the NYTimes Arts section today. Former 'suicidegirls-esque,' stripper...

linkeeypoop
she's getting completely jocked in hollywood right now
spielberg tapped her to write the pilot for his new hbo/showtime series

this movie is going to be this year's 'little miss sunshine' but funnier

this just in: two people i respect were thoroughly disappointed by the film
expectations have been halted

Ouch.

Either way, whoever cut that trailer earned their paycheck that day.

completely agree.
savages is another good trailer

except using that spoon song again shows a bit of a lack of creativity

yeah, I recommend Savages. Not a perfect movie but well worth your time... be forewarned, almost on a Todd Solondz level of darkness at times.

Savages looks dope, PSH and they used Pinback in the trailer so they already get props! A very timely topic, too, as tons of Gen-Xers will be facing this issue with their baby boomer parents in the near future.

Juno looks cute but meh.

meh here too on juno. But I might end up seeing it.

Savages - saw this trailer in the theater, my wife and I looked at each other and gave it a simultaneous thumbs down. Timely yes, but you might as well have a movie about home foreclosures or a pet dieing. Naked and happiness are among my favorite movies but a comedy about sending your folks to a home.. eeeesh.

Actually seems like someone did do a movie recently about a pet dieing.. with Molly Shannon? Seems like it got panned.
