Aussie Jazz/Funk group from Sydney, well they recorded in Sydney
at the EMI studios (Studio 3) They were quite big in their day 'Stylus' they
were on TV allot, and had a fair few Lp's, I think this is the best track they
put out, but depends on your taste...

Sheer class, the track by Peter Mac Junior got released on BBC Records in the UK, was a bit hit here..The Water Margin (Theme)

Some recent local finds (25c-$2). Was taking a closeup and Mitzy came through to let me know she chooses Pentangle, so I'll just share this version.
I'm well into the Mancini at -2ish. I love the cover of the Valdy given the title: Family Gathering. It's actually a nice local folk outing - not depressing. The Howard Roberts is a fav, and the Two Man Sound has one of the greatest bass drops of all time (s/o Dimitri From Paris)
Man that Two Man Sound sounds like a Dimitri From Paris production if he'd been around in 1975. His album was one of a small handful of sort of sample-based-breakbeat-exotica-lounge albums that I think might still stand up (Ursula 1000 had one, I think...).

Water Margin was hard AF. Sunday evenings on BBC 2. We were too young to get the politics of the storyline but Mr. Watermargin kicked ass every week.

Some Salvador finds. Debut from Ednardo. I thought his name was familiar and I just remembered that I have his and the Pessoal Do Ceará's follow up ("Meu Corpo..."). Never can go wrong with Egberto or Gal. I thought finding the Giorgio here of all places was surprising.
did I hook you up with that Ednardo e O Pessoal do Ceará LP? That and Pavão Mysterioso are both heavily slept on, I always pick them up if I find them cheap and try to foist them onto people. That Egberto is one of his few LPs with some pretty hard grooves IIRC, his other stuff can get noodly. The stuff he produced for his own label, Carmo, is mostly on the good side of weird and experimental.
I bought the 80s pressing of "Meu Corpo", the one with their faces on the cover, a little before the pandemic. I didn't know much about Brazilian music aside from the famous names then. I think you were the one who told me to get it during one of the record shop stops. Thanks for looking out!

Don’t think I have ever posted in a Soulstrut finds thread but had a photo from my latest flea market and one record store haul.
Rustledust, where are you located that you ended up with a Looptroop 12" from a thrift store?? (Or was that the record store buy)
I'm in Finland so next to Looptroop's home in Sweden. It was from a local record store though, top left bits were from the recycling centre.
