The Not-Game Of Thrones TV THREAD

Seems like Grade A stoner tv. putting something like that together would be a good gig to have

Stranger Things - I'm only on the 2nd episode, but so far I'm digging it. An 80's cross between E.T. and Goonies but darker with a slight Stephen King/Poltergeist vibe.

I'm on Ep 5. I didn't really like it in the first ep, but it's really grown on me.

It's gotten all Small Wonder of late...

Let me know how you feel when you're done. It's now my fav Netflix show of all time. But I could see how for some it's not their thing.

Finished it last night after plowing through the last 4 eps in one go. Can't say much to diss - great season! I zoned out a bit in the last ep cause it felt like a bit too much rehash (before a great ending), but that's my fault for watching it all at once like that.

Wonder if they'll continue with this thread in the next season, or add a new story?

EDIT: Nevermind - looks like more of the former: http://nerdist.com/stranger-things-creators-talks-future-seasons-for-the-show/

Has anyone been watching Showtimes series Roadies? So far it's ok, still building character story lines but is picking up.

When I was younger I thought about being a roadie. But I liked the thought of sleeping in my bed instead of a bunk. Pooping in a toilet I can sit on instead of a bag or holding it for hours on the road.
