i thought this was a joke... who would even considder this as a birth control method???<b, 21<b, 21My wife has one of those implants in her arm that gives hormons into the blood stream. Same thing as the anti baby pill but without the pill. Lasts for 3 years then it needs to be replaced.<b, 21<b, 21Since we don't want any kids, I'm actually thinking about having a vasectomy... anybody has any experience with this?

What's worse than young people my age who don't think AIDS is a big threat are those who are completely ignorant of the causes and symptoms, despite that such information is available at the fingertips of almost anyone in the developed world. Several years ago, I once dated a girl for an understandably short time who once gave me a late night, drunken, teary eyed phone call thinking that a rash on her arm meant that she had the disease (I wear a condom every time without fail). She said that she thought it was due to her sharing a water bottle with her gay friend. Her parents were the strict, sheltering type, so I could understand where that line of thinking came from. Unbelievable.
