Raj - all the mixes have been great but the production value on the last few has been top shelf! Keep it up and keep the Strut alive!

Thank you, mang! Always trying to improve... I hope you are doing well my man.

Warming up the gear one more time for 2020:

We're celebrating our 25th episode and last stream of 2020 with a tribute to the "Sergeant Pepper's of rap", the Beastie Boy's landmark 1989 LP Paul's Boutique. DJ Raj Mahal channels his inner Dust Brother and raids the dolla bins for an hour of samples used on the hip hop classic. Tons of sleazy, slick 70s grooves, drum breaks, funky soul, Blue Note fusion, etc. It's all vinyl and all live!

The official mix is up!

I caught a part of it. Is that a new mixer? And what the hell was the app thing you were pressing in between songs?

also how can I get one of those slip mats?

Always good to see you in the mansion.

Hey G@r7,Thanks man!I’ve had this mixer for awhile. It’s definitely “new” since the Instagram live days. It’s a Pioneer DJm800. Not a battle mixer or serato friendly. Just a good sounding tank with lots of on board effects that I am still wrestling with. It has a send / return as well that works with a looping pedal that I have been incorporating in mixes lately. To answer your other question, I’m using an iPad with a soundboard app to drop virtual air horns on y’all. :bingbangboom:
