Wayne Shorter - ”Super Nova”

[parsec]

Is there a more bugged out Blue Note record than this??

[mylatency]

[Skip Drinkwater]

Some beautiful songs on this record. I wouldn't call it bugged out.

[mylatency]

what's the story behind your name, "siro gragner" ? ..def one of the more interesting screenames...

[leisurebandit]

i'll ride for this schitt. Is this the one where Walter Booker's wife starts crying on "Dindi"? Gives me chills...

yup, thats the one.

"In seperating the two drummers and the two guitarists playing together, Chick Corea and Sonny Sharrock are on the left, and Jack DeJohnette and John McLaughlin are on the right". Add Airto, Wayne Shorter, Walter Booker and Miroslav Vitous to the mix and this schitt is bugged to my ears.

[actuel]

i posted this some time back here on my sharity blog: http://curved-air.com/2006/04/24/wayne-shorter/

It's pretty cool but not bugged IMO. A step above the typical blue note chaff.

[youknowyouknow]

Donald Byrd-Electric Byrd (Airto's on this one as well)
Elvin Jones-Merry-Go Round
Lee Morgan-The Last Session, it may not be 'bugged out' but it's funky as hell.

[TheMack]
