If anything? haha. I'll be there for four days to catch the first 2 rounds of March Madness. But between games any suggestions to keep me busy? Record spots, food, anything else would be much appriciated! Thanks

There's a surprisingly great version of Martha And The Vandellas' "(Love Is Like A) Heat Wave" on there. WhiteBoySoulHarmonylikecooooooooo. Nice horn section, too.

anchor is ok, it's like lombardi's w/ pizza. It's the tourist trap, still decent though.

I would suggest you hit these two for wings instead...

buzzy's - in niagara falls, close to the outlet mall.

duff's - in Amherst, but they've opened a branch up in Toronto also.

buffalo otherwise is a pretty boring town. If the alloverprint is your thing, then you can go scoop some up at krudmart.

Aser,

Do those places serve ur wings with snooty accents?

I use to goto Buffalo (Armpit of the US) every thursday to pick up record shipments. All the places I ate down there and sadly, the Anchor is the only place I remember.

I use to know an amazing place for records there, but dude has gone into hiding.

So the NCAA has been crazy seeing the VCU Duke game live was crazy. I'll post up some photos. As for records there really isn't much although I havent had a ton of time to dig.

food: buffalo may be hurting in many areas, but food is not a problem:

gut buster yet oddly addictive "mexican" food: mighty taco (many locations)

awesome pizza: bob + johns on Hertel (+ about 45034563945 other places..)

tasty semi-casual semi upscale soups/sandwiches/entrees:
- brodos on elmwood. metro on elmwood.

stunningly tasty asian fusion, hip and cool: papaya on chippewa

uber-tasty "tapas bar"/ hip restaurant/bar: toro on elmwood.

hip/cheap coffee house: spot coffee on corner of delaware and chippewa. (across from the evil starbucks)

veggie/vegan friendly diner/coffeehouse/breakfast: common grounds on elmwood.

super casual delicious greek/diner: Kostas on Hertel. 24 hour: panos on elmwood.

ultra southern (NYC/rich red sauce, bread n butter) italian: Chef's on Swan st.
other italian: theres about 10 places on Hertel, all good.

$$ but frickin amazing dining - upscale yet casual: Hutch's on Delaware (call for reservations on weekend fo sho)

edit: also, hit up the new era flagship store on delaware (near chippewa, not too far from arena) if youre into crazy caps.
