The lone album released by Cuban percussionist Armando Peraza. Peraza had been playing in Cal Tjader's latin jazz band for a few years before he was signed to his label Skye Records to record his debut in 1969. The result is a unique latin jazz album with heavy congas and a groovy swing (suitable for a B-Boy environment). Highlights include "", "", and the . The album was arranged and co-produced by Gary McFarland who died mysteriously in a New York bar from liquid methadone poisoning. The Skye label folded shortly after this release.
