No, this is not a rare Jamaican funk 12" covering Incredible Bongo Band. It's a bootleg of their classic b-boy romper and omnipresent advertisement theme "Apache" with "Bongo Rock" on the flip. Or is it? This was released in the late 70s with the drums looped (to make that block party jam that much more awesome) by notorious bootlegger Paul Winley. He went as far as to use the legitimate Arawak reggae label as a disguise (pretty clever considering the Arawaks were South American Indians. Get it?) Don't forget Bob Smith on the production. Catch it with this awesomely simplistic jacket with red retro script. Need!
