Soft Scottish indie folk rock that was a guilty pleasure for people here on Soul Strut.  Hard core heads would call them out for ripping off the sensibilities of 60s cult pop psych groups like The Free Design and Wendy and Bonny. Belle And Sebastian would further their crate digging street cred in the mid 00s by releasing their Late Night Tales mix compilations which ran the gamut from obscure 70s acts like the Novi Singers and The Peddlers to modern day blazing downtempo heroes like RJD2 and Soul Strut's own Rehash crew.
