    Haackula LP (2008)

    The Omni Recording Corporation

Bruce Haack was a groundbreaking Canadian electronic music producer in the 60s and 70s who was flat out eccentric and weird. Even creepier... most of his output were children's records. Though his most well known release was his 1970's moog acid rock epic Electronic Lucifer,  those on here would argue it was the album that was never released that got collectors in a frenzy.  1978's Haackula, is a bitter artist's diary trolling the music industry with foul rants and tracks like "Blow Job."  Hardly something you want to hear from a man who primarily records children's music. The album was never formally released until 2008 which included the much rumored collabo with Def Jam's Russell Simmons "Party Machine" as a bonus track. Prince Language did it justice with a remix in 2008 for Stones Throw.  The video is probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen on the internet.
