Funky guitar jazz from the long time session great. He's got quite a few solo joints out that I don't really care to obtain. The reason I hunted this down is for his version of "Lay, Lady, Lay." Most will bust a spleen over this too if your into the I.N.I. album like myself. Pete Rock has a keen ear. People Under the Stairs used this loop undoctored too. I'm guessing they really didn't care that Pete already rocked it because the I.N.I. record never saw an official release. Aside from the "who sampled what" ballyhoo, this is a beautiful track. I'm also feeling the get down wah funk of the lead off cut "Doo Doo."
