In case you forgot, here are the guidelines:
What is ISH Record Features?
ISH is a popular attraction to Soul Strut that gives the average, every day crate digging DJ a chance to spotlight favorite finds in their vinyl record collection.
Do the records have to be mega rare!!???
Nope. This isn't the record Olympics. Again, spotlight joints that you want to show off, that you feel are underrated, or just plain bizarre. It doesn't have to be a holy grail, but the more interesting, the better.
Do I have to be a Soul Strut forum regular to submit?
Absolutely not! Anybody can submit. This site is not an exclusive clique.
Can I contribute to ISH monthly?
Please do... Submit as many times as you like.
What do I need to Contribute?
7-10 short reviews. Word count is not an issue... just no novels, please. Scans or Digital Camera pics in jpeg format in high resolution. A picture of yourself is needed. If you're camera shy, abstract pictures will do. Also, please include a short bio.
Are audio clips mandatory?
No. Audio clips are a bonus. Please keep them at 1 minute and in MP3 format. Desired bit rate is 128 kb/s.
How can I make the ISH easier on you?
Please spell check and re-read you're ISH before submission. If you could name your pictures in order of how they appear like 1.jpg, 2.jpg... even better.
Who do I send it to?
Please zip up your ISH and send us an e-mail with a link to a file share site. We recommend Div Share.
As long as the deadline isn't too sharp, I think I should be able to submit one... moving house at the moment, but have recently got a USB turntable, so there will be soundclips if I have time to sort it.
Should be ready for Wednesday PM or Thursday.
My Birhtday today, so that's another excuse for slackness...
