well in the end she handled it right, she called the cops and the guy was arrested. Still it just pisses me off to an extreme level that someone would have the fucking gall to throw rocks at a woman while telling her to go back to Africa and call her a nigger.
While Arizona does offer scenic vistas of breathtaking desert flora and fauna, it also voted to NOT celebrate MLK Day, and is still the only state in the union to not observe Daylight Savings.
But the Grand Canyon is on some shit.

Look I love Arizona as a piece of land, but it is pretty fucked up as a state of people. Sure their are some cool people and it has a good music scene, but people are also seriously racist down their. Sure their are racists everywhere, but Arizona acts like they are Alabama in 1790.
I had a friend move down there and the first bar he went into the whole place stopped and dude told him "we don't allow niggers in here". Come on that's some pretty fucked up stuff. Plus, plenty of states that would have made the news etc, but in Arizona that shti just happens.
Go back to Africa and throwing rocks! What do you think he just came up with that on his own? No, it was learned behavior from the people around him.
There was a bar up here in Washington that didn't allow people to speak Spanish and that was all over the news and had a big deal made out of it.

Day I felt like you trivialized the issue by saying what you did. No doubt it goes on everywhere, everyday but it doesn't happen like this to people I care about all that often. And to compare the actions of this guy to that of a 10 year old only further trivialized it. This wasn't some kid doing kid shit, this was a grown ass man doing some straight up racist, hateful, and physical shit.
Hope you understand why I reacted like I did
