How many turntables do you own?

2 x Tech 1200s

1 x Stanton Str-60 im giving to my bro

1 x Califone (needs power cord replaced)

I like the honesty about the broken turntables. One of my portables is broken and one of the belt drives has no belt.

My GP-3 is busted. I accidentally plugged it into a 220 wall socket in Colombia and it fried my speaker. They mostly have 110 there, but all their Air Conditioner's run off of 220 so they have one 220 socket in each hotel room. Looking for a new speaker still but have been slacking on it since I have been using the Crosley Revolution in its stead. It actually works totally fine but the speaker is super quiet.

4 - 1200's

2 - portables

2 - Stanton Str8-80's (they're pretty much my daughters though.)

2 - Numark 1600's

I need to just get rid of them since they are not just broken belt issues and need more work than they are worth. They will probably remain in my house until I move.

2 x 1200s (purchased in 1997. only one gets love now... the other is in a box under my bed.)

1x red colombia GP-3 (purchased in 2002... still going strong! great purchase.)

1x broken phillips portable

3 CDJs, but only a 2 channel mixer WTF so I have to run one through the phono. Does anyone know how to make the volume levels closer together? Should I just burn that CD quieter?

I???ve heard of phono cartridges made with all sorts of exotic stuff, but never from a cactus needle ??? the material used for the cantilever in the new Hyperion LT cartridge from Soundsmith. ???We???ve been trying to figure out how to make good cantilevers for about 70 years, but God figured it out 100 million years ago,??? company founder Peter Ledermann explained, noting that cactus needles can survive decades of 130-degree heat. He???s so confident of the material???s durability that he offers a 10-year warranty on the cartridge, including retipping if necessary.
